I have decided to add this chapter as I am a great believer in the power of crystals. I have given many out, but, unfortunately, people just do not know how to use them and therefore they do not get the full advantages of them.
The Power of Crystals
"Crystals"-the very word kidnaps our imagination and takes it to a mysterious place, a cavern of healing energy deep within the Earth. The fascination of crystals, especially with myself, comes from their earth-bound beauty. Moreover, they are a potent metaphor of the spirit transcending the flesh, the wonder of life itself, the lantern of the spirit.
Crystals, however, are more than intriguing symbols. They are also a source of energy that can be harnessed to work a positive purpose in our lives. The stresses of the modern world have sent many of us on a quest for antidotes of various kinds. In exploring meditation, chakras, yoga and other holistic disciplines we have began to tap into a reservoir of strength and insight that goes beyond the physical.
Working with crystals and drawing energy from natural, beautiful stones, might strike a materialist or a sceptic as a "fringe" activity, akin perhaps to a belief in fairies. I can only say one thing in response... try it! The power of crystals, once experienced, is a very positive and healing therapy, which works gently on both body and mind.

Loadstone | | Lodestone is a heavy mineral, and focuses energy in a down direction, solidifying through the channels as it passes down the energy system. Its effects are more noticeable as it reaches the lower back and hips where it collects and then passes down round the back of the highs, circling the knees and ankles before grounding around the feet. Once there it sparks again sending a pseudo electrical current sharply up and out of the complete energy system. It's for this reason that the mineral has been used in magical practice for the purpose of grounding an intension. Its often use in conjunction with magnetite which aids in the sparking process. Wavellite works in a similar way to smithsonite, another one of my favorites. Very good to use after using the Smithsonite.
